A hectic schedule 12.21.2012 in Batangas

A hectic day today 12.21.2012 . . .

While everyone's busy thinking and worrying about the so-called prediction of the end of the world, here I am in Batangas for a hectic schedule with my father and son Gab.

1. Visit San Juan Nepomuceno Church to work on some documents
2. Ocular at Virgin Beach Resort and meet up with Juan Carlo Catering
3. Look for flower, cake and photobooth local supplier, if any
4. Meet up my March 15, 2013 client

Before heading off to San Juan, we made a drop first at Lipa Cathedral ~ my first time to visit the church.

The Cathedral is good for wedding ceremony as well - spacious parking, long aisle, choir loft, impressive altar.

Four seasons in 1 day - The UY-CADIENTE wedding (12.20.12)

Four seasons in 1 day - a beautiful theme of Mr & Mrs George and Christine Uy . . . The garden effect and the beautiful scenery were all achieved in Fernwood Garden 2 and the Cycad Court of Fernwood.

It was great to be part of this grandiose event as I get to meet old and new suppliers and of course previous couple-client Dr and Dra Gilbert and Jaja Cadiente (my 2010 couple).

Congratulations and Best Wishes Mr and Mrs Michael and Glaiza Villapando - reception program took place at Amaranth Garden Venue.

The weather was good and while waiting for the guests I enjoyed the beautiful scenery of the venue.

I was also accompanied by my apprentice in hosting Pitz Sarmenta.

Once again all gratitude to Ms Love and Ma'am Alice for giving me the opportunity and the privilege to be their accredited host. All glory and praises to God for all the blessings!

Stars and Movies Debut Theme

Last November 17, once again I was given the privilege by Amaranth Garden Venue to host their event - it was a debut event where the theme was all about Stars and Movies.

What was cool about the event was the debutante's idea and version of the ever famous "Hollywood Walk of Fame" where she and her family created their own version of the five pointed terrazzo and brass stars embedded in the venue's floor. You can see there the debutante's favorites from foreign actors, musicians, movies etc.

Like in the picture below where she created a star for her name and that of her favorite Arnold Schwarzenegger - very unique, right?

Aside from the hollywood walk of fame, the debutante also had new traditions incorporated in her celebration like the 18 Blue Bills where guests pinned P1,000 worth of money each to her gown while she is dancing together with her escort; there was also the 18 songs where each of her 18 chosen and talented friends gave a song rendition as their gift to her.

The unique celebration may also be attributed to the debutante's wit, intelligence and unique name ~ HANO-I

Thank you for the privilege and your stars and movies theme celebration marks the beginning of your journey to womanhood, happy birthday Hano-i!!!

Backdrop design in Island Cove Aguinaldo Venue

Had a wedding last November 24 in Island Cove Aguinaldo Venue and got attracted with this simple, minimalistic couple's backdrop.

10 for 1 at T.A and Chin's Wedding

You might be wondering why my post was titled "10 for 1 at T.A. and Chin's Wedding".  Well this is to recognize 10 suppliers who were given the opportunity by T.A. and Chin to work in 1 day on April 22 as their wedding suppliers thus 10 FOR 1 ... cool eh?

It's always exciting and easy to work with wedding suppliers you've worked for the nth time not to mention that my team is always honored to be with them on each of my couple's wedding date.

During my couple's T.A. and Chin Mangulabnan's wedding last April 22, 2012, our team once again had the opportunity to work with the best of the best wedding suppliers that the industry has to offer.

1.  Dressing Venue was at the Astoria Plaza

2.  Their Hair and Make Up Artist (HMUA) was Val Villarin

3.  Chin's gown was designed by Ammon Velasco

4.  Church Ceremony took place at Santuario De San Jose Greenhills and Reception Program was celebrated at the Wack-Wack Golf and Country Club Banquet AB Venue

5.Their food was provided by Via Mare Catering

6.  Lights and Sounds were covered by RejectKrew and was taken care of by Kumpareng Elmer

7.  Photography and Videography were provided by East Digital Studio

8.  The couples cake and cupcakes were taken care of by Vienna Cakes

9.  The event was made memorable by no other than my favorite emcee Mallory Ferrer-Cosio

Well after the event, it was just kulitan and bonding time with the couple, Elmer (Rejectkrew) and Arnol (East Digital).
